Living Green
I debated doing a green-as-in-earth-friendly post instead of green-as-in-the-color, but I couldn't commit, so consider this a compromise. The glass bottles are my cheapskate version of a Kleen Kanteen. I'm not a fan of refilling plastic bottles, and I like drinking out of glass anyway, so these are just Perrier and Pellegrino bottles I've been refilling with tap water for about a year. When I first started this scheme, I thought I might make some sort of little bottle cozies to protect them. That never happened (as cute as they would have been), but they've proven quite sturdy without them. I've been hauling them all over the place for all this time, and the only casualty we've had is one, lone bottle which burst in the fridge after the water froze.
And, no, we don't have a hybrid car. We did have a chance to try out an electric car on vacation last year. Fun!
And that too...GREEN!

i love that pig!
I agree! The pig is fab! You really have a wonderful collection of fun and funky things.
Good on you with the water bottles. I'm still using my rubbermaids (safer with the klutsy kids) but I love that idea. Do you find them a pain to clean?
Thanks for your comment- it made me laugh out loud (and now, after seeing me laughing at the computer screen, my kids think I'm as nuts as you do, he he!).
I'll have to let my brother know that his pig has fans--he gave me that pig!
The bottles just go in the dishwasher. I haven't noticed anything growing in them, so I guess that's working!
I love love love love love the pig!!!! Super cute!
