We have a winner! The very last person to enter pulled off the win! Congratulations, Kathryn! Please email your address to DarlingPetunia (at) aol (dot) com. Will you share some of your sock and glove creations with us?
But wait! There is other giveaway business!
The stitch counters: Three are spoken for, which leaves one. I did not receive an address from one of the commenters, so I'm moving along to the next name on the list: stickenickan. If you are stickenickan (what's a stickenickan?) please send me your address so I can send you a stitch counter. If I don't hear from you, I'm giving up! :-)
The yellow shoes: Everyone likes those yellow shoes! They are a size eleven (yes, I'm an Amazon), and there's a close up of them here. I got them at Target maybe three years ago and never wore them. They are not leather. I think I paid twelve dollars for them. All that being said, if someone REALLY wants them, I'll sell them for $5 + s&h. I'm warning you, though--postage will cost more than the shoes!
Anything else that anyone has asked about: Many, many of these things are going to go up for sale on etsy or ebay once I have everything sorted.
And finally: Anyone ready for a new giveaway?
Vintage notions! Seam bindings, snaps, even a bra repair kit! Everything you see here is up for grabs in one lot. If you're interested, leave a comment answering this question: What area of your home is the most difficult for you to keep organized? I will leave comments open until Wednesday night at 9 pm and then pick a winner at random.

I hesitated between the store closet under the stairs and my closet, but I decided on the store closet because I can organized it so neatly and then my husband and son will just shove a bunch of things in or, as my mother used to say, "it looks like someone has been stirring with a stick" as they search for something that I would never put in there in the first place.
At least, in my closet, no matter if "others" put things on the floor, the clothes are hung neatly by category and often color coded.

well clearly my office/craft room...cause i always start a new project before ending the last one so instead of putting the necessary items away, i just put them to the side...in a pile of course...
it's a vicous cycle...

I am not great at organization, but I think that my sewing room wins the prize. I'll straighten it up and then get new fabric or yarn, and set it out to start and then... life intervenes and it becomes a mess...again.
If no one bids for the scrapbook stuff I will Susan!
OOO! Notions are awesome! Love, love!
The hardest part of my home to keep organized is the office. Mainly because I can't just organize it because a lot of it is my husbands projects and stuff. We can't seem to coordinate in there and it always piles up and up and up....
My sewing room is like an abyss of disorganization. This is for a few reasons:
1) I have two young kids, one that likes to "help" me sew by wrecking the place while I'm concentrating on a seam.
2) I have young kids, so I barely have time to sew, let alone clean up after sewing.
3) I have a hard time throwing away useful things, and who knows what could be useful in the future? I surprise myself sometimes.
So there you have it. Thanks for the giveaway!
My sewing room is the hardest part of my house to keep organized. I have way too much fabric and way too many items of clothing that need to be refashioned. That just means a big old mess! Thanks for the giveaway! pe_mayfield(at)yahoo(dot)com
i have a tiny little apartment, but my sewing corner is DEFINITELY the least organized. I do pretty well considering, but I tend to throw things around haphazardly when I am sewing.
Nice notions! I hope whoever wins makes some fun stuff with them! I think Im a bit too late to enter, but I find my own bedroom to be the hardest to keep organized.
