Tom Terrific

This year, I am involved in an ornament swap with a group of online friends.   My swap buddy is an avid fan of the Boston-based sports teams, so I knew immediately I wanted to make something related to the New England Patriots.  Initially, I tried to recreate their logo in felt, but that didn't go too well, so I tackled (ahem) Tom Brady's jersey instead. 

Now I'm not normally a fan of that stiff felt, but it was the perfect thing for this project, because the cuts come out so crisp and neat.  I will keep that in mind for future crafting!
