Last week I started seeing more and more of these signs in our area:











That really makes me happy!

Hello there,
I landed on your blog (all the way from Italy, hope you'll excuse my english!) in search of ispiration on wardrobe refashion. I LOVE your blog!
And then I found this post: what does the sign mean? That it won't become land to build on? That it won't be devoted to crops grown intensively?
It's always so hard with languages: no matter how well you study them, you never fully own them.

Hi, Gloria! You have it right--it means the land has to remain a farm or open land and can never be built on. This particular sign is along one of our favorite roads, where we always see all kinds of wildlife. It would be a shame for all those animals to be displaced by a housing estate, so we were VERY pleased to see this sign!
