...I have a saltine cracker fetish. Some people go to Italy and bring back shoes. I go to Italy and bring back crackers. That's a lot of luggage space to devote to crackers.

Mmm, individual packets for freshness. I am amazed by how well these survived the trip. I can't even get a box of
Zestas home from the market without winding up with crumbs.

mmmmmmmmmmm I'll be right over. by the time I get there the butter I'm bringing will be just the right temperature to spread.
When my neighbor went to Germany, she brought home a whole mess of one kind of candy bar. It was sorta like a KitKat in one big piece. A gingerbread flavored flaky cookie covered in chocolate. We ate them while watching the Golden Girls & drinking coffee during our coffee mornings. Sooooo good.
Since we're in a high German population area, I keep looking the market for them but haven't found them anywhere. I wish I knew the name of them.
