Giveaway Business
One final Throw Out Fifty Things giveaway--shall we?
This is to win the apron pictured above. The wind was blowing too hard to get a good picture, so I copped out and aimed at the beautiful vlue sky instead! Just picture a standard half apron in pink, black, and white! It's very simple--it was a prototype--no pockets or anything, but it is tres chic! To enter, leave a comment on this post telling me what you'll cook wearing this apron. Make sure I have an email or blog address so I can contact you if you win! And this one is open to ANYONE! Yay!
Random.org picked the winner of the children's book giveaway: Number 8, which is Christy from Colombia Lily! Yay, Christy! Let me know which two books you'd like!

Oooh, so lovely! I would make some chocolate peanut butter cupcakes with some chopped up Reese's Pieces on top. It's a Joy the Baker recipe I have been wanting to try.
I will make this recipe I want to try for Sally Lunn Bread (in the bread machine.) It sounds good.
Looks cute! I want to make lots of things, but the first thing that came to mind was an ice cream truck treat that is featured in the Food Network magazine that I just got. Mmmm, orange cream pops!

Cute apron! I just got one of those no-knead artisan bread books & I'l like to try some of the recipes in there. I'm sure they'll turn out even better if I'm wearing the apron while I make 'em ;-)
I would bake some wheat bread. Got to get my hubby to grind some flour before I do though ;)
fresh bread of course!...
oops i forgot to tell you my book choices! I would love to have the graphic books on the right!
ps....don't include me on this giveaway! =)
Cute! Ive been wanting to make some lemon bars, so maybe I'll wait a few more days and do it in style!
I vote for Stephanie Tillery and the choc/peanute butter cupcakes with some chopped up reeses pieces on top...do I even get a vote? Is this a democracy or what? Come on!

I keep thinking it should be something PINK! Like chocolate brownies with pink peppermint frosting.

I have been inspired by your getting rid of 50 things. Being motivated to do it myself? Well, I'm hoping that will follow soon.
Such a cute apron! I would make the gluten-free chocolate chip cookies I've had a hankering for lately.
Hey susan !
you know i would love to win one of your aprons.. i have ONE apron , its a nascar one of some driver i don't even know.. lol. i don't cook much so there is no telling when i would wear it. but i think it rocks ! and i LOVE your pics you post with your blog. i look forward to those as much as allt he toehr stuff :)
Lovely apron... I want to start baking the recipes in the book you recommended to me: "Confections of a Closet Master Baker". The first one will be (made from scratch) Croissants which contain alot of butter and will most likely be a messy affair! I desperately need an apron to begin this baking craze! ;-)
Cheryl (in Michigan!)
I think cut-out sugar cookies with a pink and white swirl frosting. Aprons make me feel so "domestic". I love them.
