Eeny, Meeny, Miny, Moe

Guess what post this is. Hmm. That didn't take long! It seems like just yesterday when I sat here thinking, "What the heck am I going to do with a BLOG? What do I say? Will anyone care?"

As seems to be traditional, I am giving something away in honor of my one hundredth post! If you would like to win your choice of one of my wee bags, this is what you do:

Leave a comment on this post.
Deadline is Sunday night, August 24, at whatever time I feel like it.
The name will be chosen randomly by a method yet to be determined. (We'll see if Isabella is up to it.)
I accept no bribes. :-)
Did I forget anything?

And I do mean it when I call the bags wee--they're all too wee for me. But if you are a minimalist kinda gal, one of these would be great for you.

First is my very first Tokyo Tie Bag. It's pretty tiny! It measures just over ten inches across the bottom. It probably wouldn't be a good everyday bag, but it would be great for carrying just a few bits along on a dinner out.

Next is the preppy little Simple Tote. which was the star of this tutorial. It's just eight inches deep, but you can really stuff it, and the handles hold everything in!

And finally, also from the Bend-the-Rules Sewing book, is the Charming Handbag, which is about 11 inches across the bottom.

So which would you pick if you won?

Oh, I like the last one the best!! It's really fun to see the projects that you sew.

I was also hoping that you might do a tutorial on how you finish the inside facings of your skirts. They look so polished, and I'm never happy with mine. Thanks!

I like the pink and green the best!

I love your blog - I'm glad you decided you had something to say. :o)

hmmm I like both the Tokyo Tie bag and the Charming Handbag....what would I pick. I think I have to go with the Tokyo! You do amazing work btw. I can't wait to be able to have a finished product that looks professional. Having said that, I guess I should actually get around to doing some sewing! lol :)

Happy 100th!! I like the Charming Handbag the best. I love to see the things you make and I always star them in my google reader so that I can come back to them and try them myself.

Congratulations on your 100th post. I love the preppy tote! I should use this as an inspiration and use up all the bits and pieces that I just HAD to have that are sitting nicely packed away.

I'm very torn between the Tokyo tie bag, which I've been rolling around in my mind, and the Charming Handbag as well! I really like this blog...keep up the awesome work!

Happy 100!

I absolutely adore your bags and skirts.

Your blog/pics make me wish I were more creative or dare to TRY to be creative!

I WANT THEM ALL!!!

Really, how could I possibly choose just one?

I have been reading your blog for quite some time and I really admire your sewing skills especially since you're a relative newcomer to sewing.

I have a basic Singer machine that I bought when I was pregnant with my first daughter who is now 30 years old. It's my old faithful although I haven't used it very much for years now, unfortunately. Maybe I can get back to it. I've tried a few refashionings and I've enjoyed those.

Congrats on making 100! I'm always happy when my reader tells me that you've posted :-).

I like the Tokyo tie bag the best - it's kinda funky like me :-D.

Congrats on getting to 100!

You're really creative and I love all 3 bags. If I had to choose just one I'd probably pick the pink/green tote.

They are all beautiful...I like the first one the best!!
Thanks for your help with MY bags.

SIgn me up! I have no idea which bag I like the best. I have a terrible time turning down any tote bag, ever.

They all are great but I think I like the red one best-no maybe the green--no definitely the red. See I can't make up my mind!!!!!!

I also love the preppy little simple tote (green/pink). Very cute!

BTW- I'm a relatively new reader. Found you from a link at Wardrobe refashion around a week ago. As a crafty-reader, I've really enjoyed reading it. Thanks! =o)

Love the green flower one! I Love your blog. Keep it up!

Congratulations as everyone has already said. I love the last bag! I mean LOVE! What I would love even more is a pattern that could possible come with the bag I got so I could make more of that last bag and give them to my friends and family. I just finished my first baby quilt on my new sewing machine (Janome 4900) and I might just need a new project...

So love them all! But, seeing as how I can't have everything I'll go with the Tokyo Tie Bag! Love looking at all your creations on your blog!

I like all three bags, but I think the third is my favorite. Thanks for your blog. It has been a great resource for me for many things. Keep it up!

I love them all but would probably say the Tokyo Tie Bag, partly because of the colors. I mustn't be greedy (why not?) since I am already the very proud of a very lovely fun creation of yours, the Artful Tote, was it called? That green print makes me smile whenever I look at it.

I am in awe of you getting to 100 on your blog. I will wait for the next 100 - blogs and sewing projects.

Congrat's on 100 posts!!Your blog is one of my faves and I have been reading along (both your sites) for awhile. I am glad you decided that you had enough to say to start a blog- this is the same question I have been asking myself and (partly Thanks to you) I decided I will give it a go!

I love all three bags, but I really like the print on the Tokyo bag, for the reason that it could be dressed up or down.

I love, love the Tokyo tie bag - I know you say it's weeny, but believe me, after 4 years of dragging a change bag for 2 toddlers, it's a world of pleasure discovering small bags again. I really enjoy reading your blog - I have my own, not nearly as inspiring, and congratulate you on your 100th post!

I love the last one (Charming Handbag). Red is one of my favorite colors and so it makes sense that I would pick this one. :)
I love your blog. It's so inspiring to read your posts...if you couldn't tell by my desperate need for a sewing machine. So, thanks for deciding to speak out and inspire other bloggers and blog-readers!

Congrats on 100!

I'd pick the Tokyo Tie bag.

Thanks!

Okay, I'll stop pussyfooting around and get down to business... I want free stuff! Please consider me entered in your drawing.

All three are so nice, but I think I like the style of the Tokyo Tie Bag best. I'd be happy to have any of them, though!

Congratulations on number one hundred. I'm trying to break out of my green phase (just love the green bag) so I would choose red.
